3 cups flour (1/2 white, 1/2 wheat)
3 1/2 baking powder
1 1/2 salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups shortening
3 cups oats (I used quick oats)
Stir in first 4 ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add oats. Place in a container to save for later.
To use:
1 1/2 cup mix
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then pour on hot griddle and cook. Serve with applesauce or syrup.
